Barry's responsibilities included local and state outreach. Principal programs over the past thirty years involve weed control in field and specialty crops in southwestern Arizona and southern California. Currently coordinating a Weed Control Research Porgram at the Yuma Agricultural Center. Since 2017 serving as Director of Yuma and La Paz Counties Cooperative Extension.
